IPS Multi-Purpose and Transition solvent cements comprise a series of regular and medium bodied formulations designed for use in joining a wide range of PVC, ABS, CPVC and Styrene pipe and fittings, involving both similar materials and transition joints between dissimilar plastic materials. Applications include sprinklers, plumbing, conduit, sewer, drain, waste and vent (DWV) systems, and in low-pressure situations where dissimilar materials are joined.
WELD-ON 790 "Multi-Purpose" CLEAR: Medium bodied, fast setting, PVC to CPVC multi-purpose cement for all classes and schedules with interference fit through 6" diameter, Schedule 80 through 4" diameter. May also be used on low-pessure ABS and Styrene systems.
WELD-ON 793 "ABS to PVC TRANSITION" CLEAR: Regular bodied, very fast setting, ABS to PVC transition cement for all classes and schedules with interference fit through 2-1/2" diameter (except Schedule 80).
WELD-ON 794 "ABS to PVC TRANSITION" GREEN: Medium bodied, fast setting, ABS to PVC transition cement for all classes and schedules with interference fit through 6" diameter (except Schedule 80).
WELD-ON 796 "ABS to PVC TRANSITION" WHITE: Regular bodied, fast setting, ABS to PVC transition cement for all classes and schedules with interference fit through 6" diameter (except Schedule 80). CSA certification for non-pressure ABS to PVC transition joints only.
